Sacred Heart Medical Center unveils Robotic Surgery System

Sacred Heart Medical Center officially launched the da Vinci Xi Surgical System on Tuesday, marking the introduction of robotic-assisted surgery to provide patients with advanced, world-class surgical care.

The launch was led by International Guest Proctor Dr. Sirripong Cheewatanakornkul, Medical Director Dr. Maria Josefina Tan, Director for Medical and Ancillary Services Dr. Augusto Jose Galang, and Dr. Vermie Garcia, head of the hospital’s Robotics-Assisted Surgery Program.

The new technology enhances surgical precision and expands access to minimally invasive procedures for patients.
