“SM Bears of Joy,” an annual donations initiative sponsored by SM Cares, SM Supermalls, and Toy Kingdom, recently concluded. The goal of the campaign is to encourage mall visitors to purchase two specially created bear plushies for the holidays—one for themselves and the other to donate to nearby children.

The SM Bears of Joy initiative seeks to give SM’s community of customers an opportunity to contribute to the happiness and generosity of others in addition to bringing much-needed smiles to children during the Christmas season.

Children at the Sitio Target Integrated School in Barangay Sapang Bato, Angeles City; the Sitio Diaz community in Mabalacat; and The Autism Society of Pampanga, under the direction of Ms. Joyla Ofrecia, received “Bears of Joy” from employees of SM City Clark.

Barangay Saguin and Barangay Sto Nino were the recipients of SM City Telabastagan grant and  SM San Fernando Downtown respectively

The annual gift-giving event helps needy children and enables employees to appreciate the true spirit of Christmas.

The SM Bears of Joy will keep making kids smile who don’t get presents very often at Christmas. Thousands of less disadvantaged children across have benefited from this project throughout the years.
