Excitement is building in Sta. Rita as the official candidates for the 2026 Mutya at Ginoo Ning Sta. Rita were formally introduced to the public on Monday, April 13.
Twenty hopefuls—ten women and ten men representing various barangays—are set to compete for the prestigious titles in one of the town’s most anticipated events.

The vibrant press presentation and sashing ceremony took place at Alviz Farm, drawing local officials, supporters, and pageant enthusiasts. The program was led by Mayor Reynan Calo and First Lady Louella Calo, alongside Municipal Administrator Earl Tongol, Tourism Activities Consultant Andy Alviz, and Municipal Treasurer Myla Capulong.
Mayor Calo highlighted that the pageant serves as a platform for young Ritenians to shine beyond beauty, encouraging them to showcase their intelligence, talent, and advocacies.
“I hope they can inspire fellow youth and share their meaningful advocacies not only here in Sta. Rita, but across the Philippines,” he said.
The competition continues with the pre-pageant on April 24, leading up to the much-awaited grand coronation night on May 19.
Mutya at Ginoo Ning Sta. Rita remains a centerpiece of the town’s month-long fiesta celebration, which will culminate on May 22.
