Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. on August 23, 2022 presided in the meeting with the Local Council for the Protection of Children and the members of the local council as the city government strengthens its programs on the safety of Angeleño children.

Upon orders of Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr., the Angeles City Environmental Health Services – Sanitation Division, headed by Alvin Dingal, inspected and monitored public schools in the city on August 16. This is in preparation for the anticipated face-to-face classes this year.
Thirty-eight stray pets rescued from the premises of five public schools in Angeles City underwent free spaying and neutering from the city government.
Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. on August 15, 2022 ordered members of the City Veterinary Office, headed by Dr. Christian Xyric Arcilla, to rescue stray cats and dogs at Cuayan Elementary School for the trap-neuter-release (TNR) program of the city government.
