The local government unit here is not opposed to a congressional move that seeks to convert its tertiary school into a state college. HB 4079, filed in August, seeks to convert the CCSFP into a state college but under the administrative supervision of DHVSU, an already established state university.
Following City Mayor Vilma Caluag’s directive to amend the admission standards of the City College of San Fernando, Pampanga (CCSFP), the institution is now expecting a total of 849 enrollees under the first-year level as of this writing time.
