DTI: business name registration up in 2022 – The Voice Newsweekly

The Department of Trade and Industry Central Luzon reported a significant increase in business name registration for the past year. For 2022, the total number of Business Name (BN) registered with DTI-3 reached 118,791. This is 4.9% higher than the total number of business names processed in 2021 at 113, 214.

DTI-3 holds SSF Summit – The Voice Newsweekly

The Department of Trade and Industry Central Luzon recently held the Shared Service Facilities (SSF) Regional Stakeholders Summit at the Orchid Gardens, City of San Fernando, Pampanga last January 18, 2023.

More than 400 participants, most of whom are SSF cooperators from the seven (7) provinces of Central Luzon, attended the event which is now on its 6th run. SSF cooperators are partner-beneficiaries of DTI in the implementation of the SSF project, usually groups of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises.

Angeles City is 5th Most Improved HUC

The Department of Trade & Industry recognized the Angeles City Government, led by Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. on December 14, 2022 as the 5th Most Improved Highly Urbanized City (HUC) nationwide for its exemplary performance in the 2022 Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI).

DTI Tarlac celebrates Consumer Welfare Month with Virtual Spoken Poetry Contest – The Voice Newsweekly

As part of the Consumer Welfare Month (CWM) celebration, the Department of Trade and Industry Tarlac Provincial Office conducted a Virtual Spoken Poetry Contest on October 19, 2022. The activity was held via Zoom platform with 13 participating private and public schools. Contestants were high school students and their poems were delivered in either English or Filipino language.
