THE Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) conferred to the Provincial Government of Tarlac the prestigious 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) and to 16 other Tarlac Local Government Units (LGUs) in recognition of their commitment to efficient leadership and outstanding public service in a ceremony held at the Manila Hotel, morning of December 14.
The Department of the Interior and Local Government said the Peace and Order Council (POC) of the Angeles City Government, led by Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. is 100% functional. This, after the DILG released the list of local government units in Central Luzon with functional POCs for 2022.
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) inaugurated the new water system at the Modern Palengke in Pilar, Bataan. The P5-million project was funded under the Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF), which was provided to the local government unit (LGU) for passing the 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance.
