Construction of the second section of the NLEX Connector, between the future España and Sta. Mesa interchanges in Manila, officially begins as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and NLEX Corporation lead the groundbreaking ceremony for the remaining three kilometers of the elevated expressway.

Connecting Libtong in Meycauayan City and Lawang Bato in Valenzuela City, the new access road will ease both northbound and soundbound traffic in the city.

DPWH completed concreting the 880.00-linear meter sugarcane farm-to-mill road in barangay San Martin in Concepcion, Tarlac.

DPWH eyes to fully complete improvement of the 4.445-kilometer Jose V. Yap Sr. Access Road in San Jose, Tarlac next year.
