The ‘Walang Plastikan: Plastik Palit Bigas’ program of the Angeles City government has leveled up anew. After brick pavers, cement will be the next product that will be produced from the plastics collected through the program.

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. on September 22, 2022 conducted an ocular inspection at the ongoing construction of the 4-storey building of the Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center (formerly Ospital Ning Angeles), which is set to bring more health services to Angeleños and nearby communities. This hospital building will also have P100 million worth of state-of-the art medical equipment.

Fifteen barangays made it to the semi-finals of the “Gawad Parangal sa mga Pinakamalinis, Luntiang, Ligtas at Kaayaayang Pamayanan (Pogi Ya Ing Barangay Ku)” contest.

The Angeles City government, led by Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., will formally open the new designated evacuation center with complete and improved facilities in Barangay Mining on September 22, 2022.
