Amid the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, Mayor Pogi continues to push for programs that will prioritize the health and welfare of Angelenos kids, especially when it comes to providing proper nutrition to the marginalized sector.

The Angeles City government, led by Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., will begin giving anti-COVID-19 booster shots to fully vaccinated healthcare workers on November 25, 2021 . This was revealed by Mayor Lazatin’s Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, also the chief implementer of the city government’s vaccination program.

Mayor Lazatin said the continuous drop in COVID-19 cases was possible through the hard work and dedication of the 400 working staff in the vaccination team headed by Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, the chief implementer of the city government’s vaccination program, and all the medical frontliners battling COVID-19.

A total of 1,316 city government employees here have received their year-end bonus today, November 15, 2021. On top of the year-end bonus which is equivalent to one-month basic salary, the 1,316 employees – 980 permanent, 321 casual, and 15 contractual – also received their P5,000 cash incentive.
