McDonaldโs Philippines, majority owned and operated by Golden Arches Development Corporation (GADC), renews its commitment to generating employment for Filipino students through its partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). The renewed partnership was formalized last July 14, with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the collaborative implementation of the Special Program for the Employment of Students (SPES).
Leading fiber internet service provider, Converge ICT Solutions Inc., has partnered with Golden Arches Development Corporation (McDonaldโs Philippines) to provide one of the largest quick service restaurant chains seamless connectivity in more of its branches all over the country.
With almost 60,000 employees to date, McDonaldโs Philippinesโunder its master franchise holder and owner Dr. George T. Yang and President and CEO Kenneth S. Yangโwill be providing over 20,000 career opportunities to Filipinos as it continues to open more stores all over the country.

We directly hire all our people and do not practice contractualization. This has always been the way we hire our people since our chairman, Dr. George T. Yang opened the 1st McDonaldโs in the Philippines in Morayta, Manila in 1981โand it is something that we will continue to do. Golden Arches Development Corporation (McDonaldโs Philippines) won the Digital Resiliency award for the Future of Enterprise Awards (FEA) 2022 Philippines. This was announced by International Data Corporation (IDC) Philippines.
