The Philippinesโ largest integrated telco network PLDT Inc. and its wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc.’s (Smart) all-in-one emergency communication package #LigtasKit has reached the Siquijor Island to help the province gear up for future crises such typhoons, flashfloods, and earthquakes, among others.
PLDT Inc. and its wireless arm Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) have launched a meaningful partnership under its Digital health and wellness banner program Better Today PH with the Archdiocese of Cebuโs Commission on Youth and university-based Psychology Center, Kaubanโfacilitating community-based digital and mental health programs reaching Cebuโs various grassroots communities.
PLDT Inc. and its wireless arm Smart Communications, Inc. now power Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort, the first Marriott Resort in Cebu. Both groups have recently signed a contract wherein PLDT will be the resortโs telco provider for the following services: Premium Internet Service (I-Gate), Smart Enterprise Wireless subscriptions and IOT (Internet of Things).
PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc. have turned over Ligtas Kits to the three municipalities in Bantayan Island, Cebu. The coastal municipalities of Bantayan, Santa Fe, and Madridejos are among the first recipients of the groupโs Ligtas Kits.
