Officers and members of the Board of Directors of the Tarlac Provincial People’s Council formally took their oath of office before Governor Christian Yap during a ceremony held at the old session hall of the provincial capitol on May 7.
The Provincial People’s Council serves as a formal body composed of representatives from private organizations and government agencies that participate in development planning and policy-making initiatives.
In his message, Yap emphasized the important role of the council in strengthening collaboration between the government and the private sector in addressing community needs and advancing development programs across the province.
The governor added that the council will help further promote unity, cooperation, and participatory governance for the welfare of Tarlaqueños.
