PAMPANGA — A new blessing arrived this month for 9-year-old Baby Hans, a child born with hydrocephalus, as Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda turned over a specialized wheelchair to assist him in his daily mobility.
Hans’ mother, Grace, a former OFW in Singapore, was forced to return home after her child was tagged “for termination” due to his condition. Since then, she has bravely faced every challenge to keep her son alive — not without support.
From infancy, Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Vice Governor Delta have helped Baby Hans access life-saving treatment, becoming key figures in his survival and care.
Grace expressed deep gratitude: “Marami na po akong nilapitan noon, pero Kapitolyo lang po ang tumulong sa amin. Simula’t simula, Capitol baby na po talaga ang anak ko.”
The recent support was facilitated through former Board Member Rosve Henson and CDC Director Nicolette Henson, who helped bring the family’s case to the attention of the Vice Governor.
