Living up to her monicker, Julie Anne San Jose, who is tagged as “Asia’s Limitless Star”, did go beyond her limits, and joined hands with Allaine Tan to stage a a gift-giving activity to some 350 Aeta children in Barangay Inararo, Porac, Pampanga.
The crowd roared in excitement when Julie Anne alit from her vehicle. The screams doubled when everyone realized the Kapuso star wasn’t ‘alone.’ Her boyfriend, Rayver Cruz, walked behind her. Together, the couple danced with the crowd and played games with them. The finale was a raffle draw where the grand prizes were videoke microphones and mobile phones.
The day was capped with the children lining up to get their goodies from Julie Anne, her mom Marivic, Rayver and Allaine. Kids went home happy with their Jollibee treats, school supplies, bags of rice, loaves of bread and beverages.
Alainne said she and Julie Anne began talking about a different way to celebrate their birthday over a year ago. Like Julie Anne, who is a long-time friend of the family, Alainne is guided by the saying “sharing is caring.” And share their blessings, they did.
Alainne, echoing what her late Mom has instilled in her, expressed “Life is short. We have to live it meaningfully.
With this, Alainne said the future joint birthdays with Julie Anne will be celebrated meaningfully – with the continuation of the outreach, which will now be an annual event.
