The Angeles City Government, led by Mayor Carmelo “Jon” B. Lazatin II, turned over two Belgian Malinois to the Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) this morning, October 27, 2025, at the City Hall Grounds.
The initiative strengthens the operational capacity of ACPO’s Explosives Ordnance Disposal and K9 (EOD–K9) Unit, enhancing city security through explosives detection, search and rescue, and patrol operations.

ACPO, headed by PCOL Joselito E. Villarosa Jr., also met with Dr. Mario Samson Jr. of the City Veterinary Office to ensure proper vaccination, care, and maintenance of the newly turned-over dogs — a reflection of the shared commitment to public safety and animal welfare.
