𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝, 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐍𝐏 𝐀𝐯𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐊-𝟗 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭

Aligned with their advocacy for animal welfare, two executives of Angeles City have donated dog food, shampoo and medicines to the K9 unit of the Philippine National Police-Aviation Security Group in Clark.

IC Calaguas, chief adviser of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, also personally donated the monthly feeds, vital medicines and even grooming needs of the narcotic detection and bomb sniffing dogs of the Angeles City Police Office.

Team leader Police Lieutenant Jonathan Ponseca and Duty Handler Police Corporal John Micheal Dela Cruz, received the donations.

A known pet lover and advocate of Trap-Neuter-Release among stray pets, Calaguas was also instrumental in the rehabilitation of K9 Unit of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) from 2017 to 2020, where she served as Acting Deputy Director General for Administration and Chief of Staff of then Director General Aaron N. Aquino.
