Paying homage to Mabalacat Cityโ€™s rich heritage, staff from the Mabalacat City Hall โ€˜builtโ€™ a Balacat Tree at the Balacat Festival Village.

Named after the lanky 4th class timber Balacat, Mabalacat City has emerged as one of the most progressive cities in Central Luzon.

The 30-foot replica was designed by General Services Office (GSO) head June Magbalot, and was built with the staff of the City Engineerโ€™s Office, Public Safety Office and CENRO.

The lighted tree serves as one of the main attractions at the Balacat Festival Village.
