Residents of the Northville Resettlement in San Fernando now have access to clean, free water following the installation of two new water pumps by the Provincial Government over the weekend.
The ceremonial inauguration was led by Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, on behalf of Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, alongside Board Member Ananias Canlas Jr. and former Board Member Mylyn Pineda Cayabyab.
Vice Governor Pineda demonstrated the functionality of the new water pumps, assisting children in the area as they used the water for bathing. Residents were also provided with water containers to ensure access to clean water at all times.

“This project was initiated to support residents who had their water supply cut off, making sure that their basic water needs are addressed,” Vice Governor Pineda explained. “The installation of these pumps is a crucial step in providing relief to families who have faced water shortages, and it’s only the beginning. The Provincial Government is committed to ensuring that every household has access to clean water.”
Looking ahead, the Provincial Government plans to install an additional eight water pumps, expanding access to the entire Northville Resettlement community.
Vice Governor Pineda was joined by key officials including PG-ENRO Head Arthur Punsalan, Provincial Engineer Noli Pangan, and PSWD Officer Fe Manarang, who all contributed to the success of this vital initiative.
