Cebu Pacific expands fleet with 13th Airbus A330neo

Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading carrier, has strengthened its widebody fleet with the arrival of its 13th Airbus A330neo, reaffirming its position as the largest A330neo operator in Asia.

The 459-seater aircraft, which arrived from Airbus’ facility in Toulouse, France, is the third of four A330neos set for delivery this year, following arrivals in March and July.

“Being the largest A330neo operator in Asia reflects our strong commitment to enhancing connectivity across the region. This aircraft allows us to serve more passengers while keeping fares affordable,” said Xander Lao, CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer.

Starting November, the A330neo will be deployed on additional domestic routes — operating four times weekly between Manila and Puerto Princesa beginning November 2, and daily between Manila and Bohol starting November 16.

The A330neo offers improved range, capacity, and fuel efficiency, consuming 15% less fuel and generating lower noise and carbon emissions than previous-generation aircraft.

Through its growing fleet of fuel-efficient aircraft, Cebu Pacific continues to deliver affordable, sustainable, and reliable flights for every Juan.
