On February 24, 2025, Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. and Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II led the inauguration and blessing of the new bridge linking Barangays Ninoy Aquino and Pulung Maragul at the Abacan Corridor. The bridge is expected to ease traffic congestion in the area.

Also present at the event were Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, City Councilors Atty. Arvin Suller, Alexander Indiongco, Dr. Mich Bonofacio, Edu Pamintuan, Niknok Bañola, and Crisanto Cortez. Additionally, the event was attended by Representative Jon’s District Chief-of-Staff Janie Sarmiento, Congress Chief-of-Staff Louie Lazatin, Ron Pineda, and Alfred Sangil.
