Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo C. Garbo joined the groundbreaking ceremony of the Digital Transformation Center- Pampanga on December 18, 2023 at the DICT Pampanga Provincial Office, Dau Homesite Subdivision, Mabalacat City.
The event marks a significant milestone for DICT Region-3 of bringing this project to fruition. The Overview of the DICT Pampanga Digital Transformation Center- Innovation Hub Construction project was presented by DICT. International Labour Organization (ILO) Mabalacat City- Arch. Aristotle Go.
In support were the following key stakeholders: DICT Undersecretary for Connectivity, Cybersecurity and Upskilling Jeffrey Ian Dy, ILO Country Office of the Philippines Enterprise Development Specialist Mideki Kagohashi, Embassy of Japan Representative First Secretary and Labour Attache Chihiro Kanno and a representative from Advance matrix Construction, Inc.
The Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) is mandated to be the primary policy, planning, coordinating, implementing, and administrative entity of the Executive Branch of the government that will plan, develop, and promote the National Information and Communication Technology development agenda. It envisions a Philippines that is innovative, safe, and thriving through and is enabled by ICT.
