President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has appointed Zambales Governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane Jr. as the new Chairperson of the Regional Development Council (RDC) in Central Luzon under the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development.
Governor Ebdane expressed his gratitude to the President for the trust and opportunity to continue serving the region, calling the appointment both an honor and a challenge.
“Lubos po akong nagpapasalamat kay Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa tiwalang ibinigay sa akin upang patuloy na makapaglingkod sa ating rehiyon,” Ebdane said.
He vowed to strengthen programs and projects that drive the development of Central Luzon, focusing on economic growth, infrastructure, and livelihood improvement.
“Ang pagkakatalagang ito ay hindi lamang karangalan kundi isang panibagong hamon na buong puso kong tatanggapin para sa kapakanan ng ating mga mamamayan, lalo na ng mga Zambaleño,” he added.
Governor Ebdane also thanked his constituents for their continued support and called for unity in advancing a stronger and more progressive Region III.
