The Clark International Football Academy (CIFA), in partnership with Hausland Group and Clark Development Corporation, spearheaded a groundbreaking initiative – the inaugural Hausland-CIFA Cup – spotlighting the profound impact of sports on youth leadership and community development.
From March 16 to March 17, 2024, The Villages in Clark Global City witnessed an unprecedented gathering of 138 teams from across the Philippines, representing diverse age groups and skill levels, as they vied for glory in this historic tournament.
With a roaring crowd of over 4,000 spectators fueling their passion, players dazzled with their prowess on the field. Memorable moments included the inspiring triumph of Ifugao-based Lamut United Football Club, emerging victorious over 19 formidable opponents to clinch the U12 championship, and the electrifying clash between host club CIFA and Makati FC in the fiercely contested U6 Division.
Through the collaborative endeavors of CDC and the Hausland Group, a shared dedication to community enrichment was exemplified. Atty. Christopher Ryan Tan, CEO of Hausland Group, emphasized the event’s mission to utilize sports as a catalyst for philanthropy, character development, and leadership cultivation.
“We believe in the transformative power of sports to instill values of teamwork, discipline, and resilience in young individuals, laying a strong foundation for their future success,” remarked Tan in an exclusive interview.
