Several factors contributed to the raising of RED and YELLOW alert, particularly:

1. Forced outage of the following plants: Pagbilao 1 (382MW), 2 (382MW), & 3 (420MW), QPPL (460MW), San Lorenzo 50 (265MW), Limay 7 (70MW)
2. Deration of the following plants: Sual 1, Sual 2, Limay 8

A ๐—ฅ๐—˜๐—— ๐—”๐—Ÿ๐—˜๐—ฅ๐—ง ๐—ฆ๐—ง๐—”๐—ง๐—จ๐—ฆ is issued when power supply is insufficient to meet consumer demand and the transmission gridโ€™s regulating requirement.

A ๐—ฌ๐—˜๐—Ÿ๐—Ÿ๐—ข๐—ช ๐—”๐—Ÿ๐—˜๐—ฅ๐—ง is issued when the operating margin is insufficient to meet the transmission gridโ€™s contingency requirement.
