The 7th Philippine Sports Tourism Awards (PSTA) is officially accepting nominations across 18 categories, celebrating excellence in the growing sports tourism industry.
The PSTA honors both private and government entities that have successfully integrated sports and tourism, contributing to economic growth and community development in the Philippines. The awards provide a platform to recognize outstanding individuals and organizations that advance sports tourism nationwide.
Nominees will be evaluated based on their events, programs, marketing, and management efforts in organizing sports events and promoting sports destinations from January 1 to December 31, 2024.
Nomination is free, and organizations or individuals may be nominated for multiple categories. The deadline for submissions is April 30, 2025.
The 6th PSTA in 2024 recognized individuals, organizations, and destinations that have made significant contributions to sports tourism. Awardees included Puerto Princesa City (Organizer of the Year – Government), The Bellevue Resort (Hotel of the Year), Dumaguete City (Emerging Destination of the Year), and the City of Manila for Destination Marketing of the Year. Other notable awards included Milo Marathon as Event of the Year (Domestic) and Subic Bay Freeport Zone as Destination of the Year.
PSTA continues to shine a spotlight on the sports tourism sector’s vital role in driving economic progress and community development.
