Mabalacat City was named the Overall Regional Champion in Outstanding Population Structure at the regional awarding ceremony on March 13, 2025, in San Fernando City, Pampanga, by the Commission on Population and Development Region III.
The city also won top honors in key population programs:
- Best in Adolescent Health and Development Program Implementation
- Best in Responsible Parenthood and Family Planning Program Implementation
- Best in Population and Development Integration
These awards highlight Mabalacat City’s commitment to effective and sustainable population programs. With the support of City Mayor Cris Garbo, the Sangguniang Panlungsod, and the City Population and Development Council, these achievements were made possible. The City Population Gender and Development Office and its partners played a key role in the success of these initiatives, further motivating Mabalacat to improve its population programs and services.
