MPTC launches Holy Week “Biyaheng Arangkada” Assistance Program

Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), the operator of major toll roads including NLEX, SCTEX, CAVITEX, CALAX, NLEX Connector, and CCLEX, is all set for Holy Week 2025 with the launch of its “Biyaheng Arangkada Semana Santa” motorist assistance program, running from April 16 to 21.

With traffic expected to rise by 10% during the Lenten season, MPTC is enhancing toll operations and roadside support to ensure safe, seamless, and stress-free travel across its expressways. The initiative is being implemented in partnership with PEA Tollway Corporation and the Philippine Reclamation Authority for CAVITEX.

Elevated Support and Services for Motorists
To respond to peak travel needs, MPTC is deploying over 2,000 personnel to manage traffic and offer rapid incident response starting April 8. Other key features include:

  • 24/7 Hotline (1-35000) and MPT DriveHub App for real-time assistance
  • Emergency roadside stations for vehicle troubles
  • Free medical aid from mobile response teams
  • Basic mechanical services at select Rest and Refuel stops
  • Free towing to the nearest exit for Class 1 vehicles from April 9–14 and April 16–21 (CCLEX, NLEX, CALAX, SCTEX); and April 16–20 for CAVITEX

Easytrip & RFID Services Onsite
To ease toll transactions:

  • Easytrip RFID teams will assist with installation, reloading, and account concerns.
  • For CCLEX users, RFID services are available at the Toll Plaza Tent (Cordova-bound).
  • Free Wi-Fi (SMART) and free water (Maynilad) available at participating rest stops.
  • Select areas offer EV charging (AC Mobility) and wellness consultations (MWell).

MPTC is encouraging motorists to use RFID for faster, cashless travel. Users are advised to:

  • Ensure RFID sticker installation
  • Maintain sufficient balance
  • Use MPT DriveHub for reloading, checking balance, and toll fee estimates
  • Keep RFID cards as backup

Safety First on the Road
MPTC reminds travelers to:

  • Inspect vehicle condition before travel
  • Get adequate rest and take breaks to avoid fatigue
  • Follow speed limits and maintain lane discipline

Stay Updated
Real-time traffic updates and service center locations are available through MPTC’s official social media accounts and the MPT DriveHub app.

As families prepare for their Holy Week journey, MPTC’s “Biyaheng Arangkada” program ensures safer, more efficient travel for everyone on the road.
