NLEX Corporation’s flagship community development initiative, the Pag-unlad at Paglago ng Pamayanan (PUNLA), was honored with the Silver Anvil at the 60th Anvil Awards, recently held in recognition of outstanding public relations programs.
Among nearly 600 entries, PUNLA emerged as one of the 122 awardees this year. The program is designed to empower small, women-led organizations by providing them with the skills and knowledge necessary to enhance their businesses and contribute to the growth of their communities.
“We are truly honored to see the social impact of our program recognized at this level. This award reaffirms our commitment to driving positive change in the communities we serve. It inspires us to deepen our efforts and continue launching initiatives that foster growth and success for our stakeholders,” said Donna F. Marcelo, Vice President for Communication and Stakeholder Management at NLEX Corporation.

NLEX has earned 28 Anvil awards to date, including the prestigious Grand Anvil in 2006 for its Integrated Communication Program for the New North Luzon Expressway.
The Anvil Awards, organized annually by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), are regarded as the “Oscars of Public Relations.” They recognize exceptional public relations campaigns and tools that have made a significant impact on industries and communities while upholding high PR standards.
