In an Official Statement released at 11:00 pm on Tuesday, 25 March, NLEX Corporation announced that the Northbound lanes of Marilao will be fully accessible to vehicles starting at 1 a.m. on March 26, 2025, ahead of the originally projected completion date.
While all lanes are now open, supporting steel poles will remain in place to facilitate the curing process of the bridge’s concrete. This development is expected to improve and normalize traffic flow in the Marilao Northbound area in the coming days.
The Marilao Bridge was damaged on March 19 when a truck violated regulations, prompting changes in traffic flow to accommodate ongoing repairs and ensure the safety of motorists. The repairs, initially scheduled for completion in two weeks, were expedited with around-the-clock work and fast-tracked delivery of the necessary fabricated steel.
NLEX expresses its gratitude to the motoring public for their patience and understanding during the repair process.
The company assures the public that safety measures and traffic management will remain heightened in critical areas along the expressway to ensure continued convenience and security for all travelers.
