Nanay Partylist Representative Florabel Yatco celebrated her birthday by sharing joy and compassion with over 1,000 undernourished children during the “Regalong Saya at Pagmamahal” outreach event held at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center on October 8.
Each child received school bags filled with food, milk, slippers, rice, and hygiene kits, while families enjoyed free medical and dental services, vaccinations, and cash and grocery assistance. Expectant mothers received vitamins, food packs, and prenatal checkups, and 29 persons with disabilities were given wheelchairs and aid.
“This celebration is not about me — it’s about giving back to the people who inspire me every day,” said Rep. Yatco, thanking Kapampangans for their support.
Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, who joined the event along with Nanay Partylist Chairperson Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab and other provincial officials, lauded Yatco’s compassion. “When there is compassion, there is hope — and when there is a Nanay in Congress, there is care for every child.”
The event embodied Nanay Partylist’s core values of malasakit, kalinga, at pagmamahal — compassion, care, and love for every Filipino family.
