The first OFW Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Caravan opened today, 23 July, at Bulwagang Kanlahi (Diwa ng Tarlak) in Tarlac City.
Tarlac Governor Susan Yap officially welcomed all the attendees, while special messages were delivered by SSS President Rolly Macasaet, OWWA Administrator Arnel Ignacio and OF Bank Officer-in-Charge Atty. Reo S. Andarino.
DMW Usec. PY Caunan administered the oath of office for the Tarlac OFW organization leaders, with Gov. Susan Yap as witness.
A major highlight of the event is the signing of the Sisterhood Agreement between Upper Austria, represented by Austrian Ambassador to the Philippines Johann Brieger and Tarlac Provincial Government, represented by Governor Susan Yap.
A special video message was given by Austrian State Councilor Dr. Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer.

Some 5,000 jobs await Tarlaqueños at the OFW Serbisyo Caravan, which will run until 24 July.
OFW Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Caravan will be held in key areas in the country.
