PPOC honors Gov. Delta for Exemplary Leadership

The Pampanga Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) paid tribute to Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda for his six years of dedicated service and leadership as chairperson, recognizing his vital role in strengthening peace, security, and public safety across the province.

During the council’s second quarterly meeting held on May 23 at the Kingsborough International Convention Center, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Pampanga Provincial Director Myra Moral-Soriano presented a plaque of appreciation to the governor on behalf of the PPOC.

The award highlighted Governor Pineda’s strategic leadership from 2019 to 2025, acknowledging his consistent support for law enforcement and security agencies, as well as his unrelenting efforts to maintain peace and stability—key pillars of Pampanga’s sustained development.

In his remarks, Governor Pineda expressed heartfelt thanks to the council, attributing PPOC’s successes to the collective effort of its members. “All accomplishments of the PPOC and the PDRRMC were made possible by the full support of the council. From the very beginning, everyone stood with me,” he said.

The governor also marked the occasion as his final PPOC meeting as chair, bidding farewell to his colleagues and urging them to continue their support for incoming governor and current Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, who will soon assume the PPOC leadership.

“It has been a great honor to work with all of you these past six years. Thank you for your dedication. This will be my last POC meeting as chairperson—get ready for the next,” he said with gratitude and optimism. (Pampanga PIO)
