The Pampanga provincial government is supporting the ₱3-billion Asset Preservation Program of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) along the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) in Pampanga.

The program includes the construction of a groundsill below the Mancatian Bridge, a diversion channel beneath the SCTEX Bridge, and the strengthening of the SCTEX Bridge.

The provincial government also asked the BCDA to hold quarterly inter-agency meetings to provide updates on the projects, coordinate with landowners affected by the works, and install billboards to inform the public about the ongoing projects.

It also clarified that no quarrying activities are being conducted upstream or downstream of the bridges along the Pasig-Potrero River.
