BOC posts record July collection

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) collected a record ₱95.848 billion in July 2026, its highest monthly revenue in history, according to preliminary data.

The collection surpassed the ₱91.526-billion target by ₱4.322 billion, or 4.7%, and was 12.5% higher than the ₱85.180 billion collected in July 2025.

The record performance brought the BOC’s January-to-July collections to ₱587.711 billion, also its highest-ever for the period. The amount exceeded the ₱576.366-billion target by ₱11.345 billion, or 2%, and was 8% higher than the ₱543.951 billion collected during the same period last year.

BOC Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno attributed the milestone to the collective efforts of customs personnel and ongoing reforms, including enhanced customs procedures, stronger border protection, digital transformation, and closer stakeholder collaboration.

He said the record collections would help support the priority programs of the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. while reinforcing the BOC’s commitment to lawful revenue collection, legitimate trade facilitation, and efficient public service.
