The Angeles City Government, led by Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr., on September 16, 2023 joins the world in the celebration of International Coastal Clean-up Day by conducting a waterway clean-up drive along the Abacan River.

On behalf of Mayor Lazatin, City Engineer Donato Dizon led the said clean-up drive, which was organized by the City Environment and Natural Resources, Environment Management System, and Department of the Interior and Local Government – Angeles City.

Also present during the clean-up are DILG-Angeles City Director Yvette Cosio, and members of the Association of Government Employees for a New Dynamic Angeles City (AGENDA), led by President Flordeliza Santos.

One of the cornerstone programs of Mayor Lazatin’s administration is to maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the city.
