BCDA President and CEO Joshua Bingcang met with Wyman Xu, CEO of global renewable energy firm MaxFusion Group Inc., to discuss plans for a 40-hectare solar renewable industrial park within the Clark Civil Aviation Complex (CIAC).

The proposed park aims to serve as a regional hub for next-generation solar cell, module, and BIPV manufacturing, with opportunities to attract complementary investments across the solar supply chain. Discussions also include establishing on-site and nearby solar farms to meet the parkโ€™s energy needs, reinforcing its low-carbon, self-sustaining design.

The project supports national priorities to accelerate the renewable energy transition, foster sustainable industrial growth, and boost foreign direct investment, in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.โ€™s renewable energy and economic development agenda.

After the meeting, officials from BCDA, CIAC, and MaxFusion Group conducted a site inspection in Clark, highlighting continued investor interest in BCDA-managed areas as strategic locations for renewable energy and advanced manufacturing projects.
