Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading carrier, flew over 5.6 million passengers to and from Cebu in 2024, representing nearly 50% of Mactan-Cebu International Airport’s total passenger traffic of 11.3 million for the year.
This milestone was driven by strong travel demand and the airline’s strategic network expansion. Cebu Pacific’s flights to and from Cebu grew by 34.7%, with the number of flights increasing to 4,824 in January 2025, compared to 3,580 in January 2024. In addition, the airline’s seat capacity rose by 51.6%, growing from nearly 473,000 seats to over 717,000.
The growth reflects Cebu Pacific’s commitment to providing more accessible travel options, especially for passengers in the Central Visayas region, enabling them to easily connect with family, explore new destinations, and access opportunities across the Philippines and beyond.

Currently, Cebu Pacific offers direct flights to 24 domestic and six international destinations from Mactan-Cebu International Airport.
