The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has honored outstanding organizations from Central Luzon for their commitment to quality management and operational excellence through the 2024 Philippine Quality Award (PQA) Regionalization Program.
The PQA is the countryโs highest recognition for organizational performance excellence, established by Republic Act No. 9013 to promote quality and productivity across both public and private sectors.
The PQA Regionalization Program, under DTI Department Administrative Order 22-12, serves as a pathway to the prestigious national PQA recognition. It encourages organizations to adopt world-class standards, improve operations, and enhance competitiveness and sustainability.

DTI-3 Regional Director Edna D. The PQA, administered by DTI, is not a competition but a rigorous assessment process aimed at helping organizations enhance their management practices, improve competitiveness, and align with global standards. Through the PQA, DTI continues to empower organizations to foster quality standards that build consumer trust and boost global competitiveness.
