In celebration of World Tourism Month, DOT 3 Regional Director Richard G. Daenos, PhD, as Guest of Honor and Speaker,  shares important updates on Central Luzon Tourism and valuable insights on Tourism and Green Investments at the Olongapo Tourism Summit 2023 held September 12 at SMX Convention Center Olongapo.

Spearheaded by the City Tourism Office of Olongapo in collaboration with the Department of Tourism – Region III, the event anchors on the #WTD23 theme of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) that underscores the importance of green investments (people, planet, prosperity) as one of the driving factors in sustaining a continuous tourism recovery and growth.

The summit was attended by over a hundred participants consisting of tourism-related enterprises, college instructors, and students.
