In celebration of the 2025 National Women’s Month, themed “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas,” the Department of Trade and Industry – Regional Office 3 (DTI-3) reaffirms its commitment to empowering women in all sectors. This year’s observance emphasizes the vital role women play in shaping a progressive and inclusive future.

DTI-3, in partnership with local government units (LGUs), private organizations, and community partners, has organized a series of activities aimed at equipping women and other stakeholders with essential business knowledge, financial literacy, and market access. These initiatives, held across the region, aim to support the growth of women-led enterprises.

The celebration began with various initiatives from DTI-3 Provincial Offices. Aurora hosted a Women’s Month Kick-Off on March 3, DTI Bulacan conducted entrepreneurial trainings in San Jose del Monte and Norzagaray, while DTI-Nueva Ecija hosted business webinars, including one on the effects of illicit trade. In Pampanga, a trade fair for women entrepreneurs was held from March 7-9.

  • Entrepreneurial Development Seminar & Baking Skills Training (March 13, Camp Aquino, Tarlac City) – In partnership with the Philippine Army’s Civil-Military Operations Battalion, providing livelihood opportunities for women, including former rebels.
  • Seminar on Business Taxation(March 18, Sta. Cruz, Zambales) – Educating women entrepreneurs on tax compliance and business regulations.
  • Business 101 Seminar (March 26, Capitol Center, Tarlac) – Encouraging women to explore entrepreneurship as a sustainable livelihood.

  • Women Entrepreneurs’ Fair (March 14-22, Clark Cityfront Mall, Angeles City) – Providing networking and market opportunities for women MSMEs.
  • Tatak Pinoy, Tatak Tarlac Trade Fair (March 14-30, SM City, Tarlac City) – Featuring local women entrepreneurs.
  • Likhang Bulacan Entrepreneurs Association: Harana Para sa Kababaihan Trade Fair (March 11-14, Marquee Mall, Angeles City) – A trade promotion activity dedicated to Bulacan’s women entrepreneurs.
  • Victoria Trade Fest: Bida ang Lokal (March 24-26, Victoria, Tarlac) – An entrepreneurship program featuring training sessions and a trade fair.
  • Likhang Zambaleño Summer Trade Fair (March 12-21, Harbor Point, Subic Bay Freeport Zone) – A showcase of women-led MSMEs from Olongapo and Zambales.

DTI-3 remains committed to promoting gender equality and economic empowerment through sustainable entrepreneurship. “By supporting women entrepreneurs and fostering an inclusive business environment, we are not just celebrating Women’s Month – we are investing in a stronger and more resilient economy,” said DTI-3 Regional Director Edna Dizon.
