Emperador Inc. is expanding its premium product range with the majority acquisition of Destileria Los Danzantes S.A. de C.V. (Los Danzantes) through its Mexican subsidiary, Casa Pedro Domecq.
Los Danzantes is a prominent name in the rapidly growing global mezcal industry. The company is known for its premium mezcal brands, including Los Danzantes and Alipus, which have earned recognition as top-selling and trending mezcal brands in recent industry surveys. These luxury products are exported to over 20 countries and are featured in some of the world’s most prestigious bars.
With the acquisition, Emperador Inc. plans to infuse capital into the business, with Casa Pedro Domecq focusing on expanding Los Danzantes’ distribution and promotion. The company is also committed to supporting the sustainable practices and social values of the brand, ensuring continued growth while honoring its strong ties with the local community of workers and suppliers.
