Genesis Transport announced on Monday, September 22, that all trips to and from Metro Manila have been temporarily suspended as a precautionary measure amid the heavy rains and strong winds brought by Super Typhoon Nando.

The company said the suspension is to ensure the safety of passengers and bus crew. JoyBus passengers affected by the cancellations are advised to rebook their tickets. Those who booked online may coordinate with iWantSeats and PinoyTravel, while passengers who purchased tickets at terminals are urged to visit the nearest Genesis terminal and approach a reservation officer once weather conditions improve.

Genesis assured the public that it is closely monitoring the situation and will resume operations as soon as it is deemed safe. The transport company also encouraged passengers to follow its official Facebook page for further advisories.
