Five athletes from Shin Ko Judo Club Pampanga brought pride to the province after winning medals at the 3rd Philippine Ultimate Judo Championships International Open held in Manila on October 4โ€“5, 2025.

The medalists paid a courtesy visit to Governor Lilia โ€œNanayโ€ Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis โ€œDeltaโ€ Pineda on Monday, October 27, to express their gratitude for the Provincial Governmentโ€™s continued support in their training and participation in national and international tournaments.

In the Seniors Category, Althea Wilson bagged a silver medal in the 63 kg division. In the Kids Category, Flint Danganan earned a bronze in 27 kg, Miguel Roque took silver in 40 kg, Kirsten Roque claimed bronze in 44 kg, and Eunice Bermudo brought home bronze in 57 kg.

The Shin Ko Judo Club Pampanga said the athletesโ€™ victories reflect both their dedication and the provinceโ€™s strong commitment to nurturing young talents in sports.

Governor Pineda reaffirmed her administrationโ€™s unwavering support for Pampangaโ€™s homegrown athletes, emphasizing the importance of sports development in empowering the youth and uplifting local pride.
