Mayor Crisostomo Cris Garbo earned praises from his fellow chief local executives in the League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP) following President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.’s acknowledgment of Mabalacat City College (MCC) during his recent State of the Nation Address (SONA).
Mayor Garbo, who serves as the Focal Mayor for Health in the LCP, shared in his morning address that he was overwhelmed with congratulatory messages from nearly all of his colleagues in the league. Expressing his gratitude, MCG stated, “These kind gestures from the city mayors in the Philippines inspire me and fuel me to do more for the betterment of Mabalacat.”
The recognition came after President Marcos highlighted MCC for its remarkable achievement of being awarded by the prestigious Times Higher Education. The mention of MCC in the SONA not only shed light on the college’s success but also brought pride to the city of Mabalacat and the province of Pampanga.
Mayor Garbo’s colleagues in the LCP commended him for his dedication to the advancement of Mabalacat City College and the well-being of its students. The recognition from President Marcos further validated the city’s position on the national stage and solidified the collaborative efforts of Garbo administration in driving progress and development.
