Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. has praised Barangay Mining, led by Captain Lester Hernandez, for being one of the 193 barangays in Central Luzon to receive the prestigious Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangays (SGLGB).

Out of 3,102 barangays across the region, Barangay Mining stood out for its excellence in governance, transparency, and commitment to public service.

“This achievement highlights Barangay Mining’s dedication to serving its community with integrity and efficiency,” Mayor Lazatin stated. “We take immense pride in this recognition, as it reflects our shared vision of good governance for Angeles City.”

The Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangays (SGLGB) is awarded by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to barangays that demonstrate excellence in financial management, disaster preparedness, social protection, peace and order, and environmental sustainability.

Mayor Lazatin offered his heartfelt congratulations to Captain Hernandez and the entire Barangay Mining team for their unwavering dedication to providing exceptional public service.
