NLEX Corporation has launched a โฑ200-million technology upgrade for the SubicโClarkโTarlac Expressway (SCTEX), aiming to provide safer, faster, and more reliable travel for motorists along the 94-kilometer tollway.
The project covers the installation of more CCTVs and speed cameras to strengthen traffic monitoring, as well as modernized computer systems and equipment to enhance data processing and customer experience.


โThe system enhancement program in SCTEX is essential not only for ensuring faster and smoother travel, but also for enforcing stricter road discipline. These upgrades will significantly improve the safety and reliability of the road network, boosting motoristsโ confidence,โ said NLEX Corporation President and General Manager Luis Reรฑon.
Alongside technology enhancements, NLEX is carrying out major infrastructure works, including its annual pavement repair program and the ongoing repair and strengthening of the PasigโPotrero Bridge in partnership with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA). Routine activities such as tree trimming, road signage maintenance, repainting, and drainage cleaning are also underway.
