The Armed Forces of the Philippines Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM) has called on the youth of Tarlac to actively participate in advocating for the protection of the country’s sovereignty and territorial rights in the West Philippine Sea (WPS).
The Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) activity was organized by the AFP 1st Civil Relations Group and the Philippine Air Force Tactical Operations Group 3 during the provincial government’s Job Fair and Caravan of Services, held in line with the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan.
NOLCOM Commander LtGen. Fernyl Buca reaffirmed their dedication to accurate information dissemination on national security and sovereignty, emphasizing the military’s readiness and commitment.
“NOLCOM, together with its partner agencies and stakeholders, is resolute in protecting the nation’s territory and sovereignty through accurate information dissemination and sustained operations in pursuit of enduring peace and progress,” Buca said.
The IEC featured a photo gallery, leaflet distribution, and the MULAT Audio Visual Presentation. Recruitment information for various AFP branches was also provided.
As part of the “Post It Support WPS!” initiative, participants wrote messages of support for the WPS, aiming to deepen public appreciation for national sovereignty and the role of Filipinos in building a peaceful, united nation.
