PAL named Most Punctual Asia Pacific Airline for August 2025

Philippine Airlines (PAL), the country’s flag carrier, has been recognized as the Most Punctual Airline in the Asia Pacific region for August 2025, achieving an 89.37% On-Time Performance (OTP) rating.

The airline’s performance outpaced the regional average of 80.83% posted by the top 10 Asia-Pacific carriers, according to Cirium, a London-based aviation analytics company that monitors global airline and airport punctuality.

Under Cirium’s standards, a flight is considered on-time if it arrives at the gate within 15 minutes of its scheduled arrival. This benchmark reflects both traveler expectations for timely arrivals and the importance of airlines adhering to assigned airport slots.

In partnership with our aviation stakeholders, we remain steadfast in our commitment to further enhance on-time performance, a crucial factor for operational reliability and customer satisfaction,” said Capt. Roland A. Narciso, PAL Senior Vice President for the Operations Group.

This latest recognition marks another milestone for PAL, which also secured the top spot for punctuality in April 2025, placed second in January 2025 and October 2024, and ranked third in March 2025, November 2024, and December 2024.
