A total of 104 fisherfolk from Candaba and San Luis, Pampanga received ₱2,325 each in cash assistance under the Presidential Assistance for Farmers and Fisherfolk Program (PAFFP) during a distribution held on September 10, 2026, in Barangay Mandasig, Candaba.
Led by the DA-BFAR Region 3, in coordination with the Municipal Agriculture Offices (MAOs) of the two municipalities, the distribution provided a total of ₱241,800 in financial assistance to qualified fisherfolk beneficiaries.
The PAFFP provides immediate financial support to farmers and fisherfolk to help address their needs and ease the impact of rising fuel prices on their livelihoods.
DA-BFAR Region 3 said the distribution of PAFFP assistance will continue across Pampanga and the other six provinces of Central Luzon as part of the government’s ongoing support for the livelihood and daily needs of farmers and fisherfolk.
